Automated:

Birthdays and anniversaries are dynamically retrieved from the phone book every time the application is launched.

Customized:

Custom birthdays and anniversaries along with a photo can be added, edited or deleted from the application without the need of having a phonebook entry.

Single time events or recurring events (Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly) can be added/edited along with an optional end date for the event.

Holidays can be added/edited along with an option to repeat the holiday every year.

Convenience:

Convenience: The badge numbers for each of the tabs is set at the launch of the application.

Know the current days birthdays, anniversaries, events and holidays when the app is launched.

if the data is fetched from the address book, Call/Email a person directly from the application at a finger touch.

Know the age, number of days left for the birthday/anniversary to occur and the zodiac sign of a birthday, for every person right on the main screens without the need to navigate.

Know the number of days left for events/holidays right on the main screens. For events that occur on the current date, time left for the event to occur is displayed in HH:MM format.
